Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Male and Females) of District Ramban for filling up of 70 posts of Special Police Officers (SPOS) in Jammu and Kashumir Police, District Ramban on the monthly honorarium of Rs 6000/- per month initially which shalIl be enhanced after completion of prescribed period in terms of Govt order No. 889 of 2019 dated 04-08-2019
Eligibility criteria for engagement as SPO are:
(1) Education Qualification: Matric Pass (Minimum)
(II) Age: Candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 28 years of age (Candidates should have been born not after 01-08-2003 and not before 01-08-1993)
(III) Physical Test (PET) Candidates who qualify PET shall be eligible for PST
- Male: 1600 meters race in 06 minutes and 15 Seconds
- Female: 1000 meters race in 06 minutes and 15 Seconds
(IV) Physical Standard Test (PST) Candidates are required to bring orginal documents for scrutiny during PST.
- Male: Height = 5' 6"(167 ČM) Chest - 32" Un- expanded 33 1/2 Expanded
- Female: Height= 5 2" (156CM) (Minimum)
(v) Push ups (no marks are allotted for these tests).
- For male only - 20 (1 cycle of up and down counted as one)
- Shot put (4 Kgs) = 14 feet in three attempts (no marks are allotted for these tests).
NOTE:- ALL THE ABOVE TESTS SHALL BE QUALIFYING IN NATURE
1. The application forms (as per annexure) should be accompanied by attested copies of the tollowing certificates:-
- Date of birth certificates (Matriculation pass certificate)
- Academic qualification certificates
- Domicile certificate
- 04 copies of recent passport size photographs
- Adhaar Card copy
2. The application forms shall be accepted on and between 31-07-2021 to 06-08-2021in the following places

- Sub Division office Banihal.
- Sub Division Office Gool
No forms shall be accepted beyond the prescribed date.
